This report looks at how open banking payments in the EU work today and how regulatory changes in the Payments Services Regulation and the Instant Payments Regulation can improve user experience.
We believe that combining open banking with SEPA Instant creates the open, pan-European payment method which the EU has been looking for.
For that to happen, improving user experience must be a priority.
